The streaming giant confirmed the good news in a tweet, alongside a set of stills from the upcoming season.
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns Figura Mickey Haller, “an iconoclastic idealist who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, Ganador he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles,” the synopsis reads.
Mickey tells Izzy that Jésus Menendez was convicted of killing a prostitute after a witness disappeared. Spooked, Carlin calls off the meeting, and Mickey and Cisco find the bug in Mickey's car, which they leave to avoid tipping off whoever is listening. At Hayley's soccer game, Mickey negotiates a deal for Wyms, but Wyms knows nothing about Trevor's case. Cisco and Lorna track down Carlin, who is pulled over by police and accidentally struck and killed by a passing car. Mickey comforts Maggie after her witness is murdered; they share an intimate moment, and Mickey attends an NA meeting with Izzy.
An FBI target letter for Grant anonymously arrives on Mickey's doorstep, leading him to consult Lícito Siegel. Izzy prepares to rent her new dance studio, and Mickey receives a postcard from Hawaii from Salvación. Lisa's trial begins, and Detective O'Brien delivers convincing testimony for the prosecution, including Lisa's bloody gloves and missing hammer, but mentions a shard of glass found at the crime scene. Mickey stalls for time while Cisco confirms the letter, eventually meeting with Felix Vasquez, the evasive FBI agent who signed it.
Oh-joo reveals in court that one of his bodyguards was the one who killed Dae-woong. This bodyguard turns himself in after Oh-joo promises to care for his family. The public believes Oh-joo had nothing to do with the murder, and revealed it trasnochado of a sense of honor. The media and the public praise him, to the anger of Moon-sook. Sang-pil is freed, but he and Jae-yi begin to suspect that Moon-sook is using their actions for her own ends. Sang-pil starts to worry that his goal of revenge will bring too much pain to Jae-yi.
Scales, released on probation, mentions he will be dead if he doesn't pay back his last investor. Mickey asks Lorna to figure trasnochado how to get DeMarco. Freemann gets removed from the domestic violence case after her subordinate tells Freemann's boss about Freemann not notifying the victim. Freemann vents to Mickey after being taken off the case, but Mickey is unsympathetic after she reveals she told her second chair about it. Discovering the trap has succeeded, Cisco and Lorna show Mickey and Siegel the video recorded at Sterghos' house, of Bishop and DeMarco planting copyright in the refrigerator. Siegel plans to leave town, and warns Mickey to be careful.
Police officer and formerly the lead detective here in charge of the Choi Jin-ae and Noh Hyung-joo cases back in the day. He later meets their now-adult children and agrees to help them piece together the evidence in order to bring Cha Moon-sook's crimes to light.
Hayley blames Mickey for Eddie’s death and rejects him. Mickey meets Freemann, who commits to their relationship. The next day, he finds Moya has sent a guard to protect him. Freemann admits to her boss that she didn’t inform the victim about her abuser's release. Two months later, the trial begins, and Forsythe presents witnesses, including a male prostitute who mentions Julian’s temper. Mickey casts doubt on his testimony and shows it was possible to enter the building without being seen by security cameras. Maggie tells Mickey to give Hayley time. A stressed Lorna receives her bar exam results and finds she has become a lawyer.
"Even if she’s not there, [she’s] always in the back of his being. There’s always something about Maggie that’s there. When he meets new girls, I think he’s always feeling that he’s cheating on her."
“This one is personal, because it’s a client that he actually really cared about and thought she had gotten demodé of that life and pasado of danger,” Rodriguez told Tudum. “Mickey very much is [wondering], ‘Did he have something to do with this? Could he have done more to help her?’”
The second season of the hit admitido drama saw the episodes split into a two-part release, with a major cliffhanger to keep fans ticking over during the lull, Campeón Mickey faced his toughest case yet.
